In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised the character in the movies Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her other notable roles include her roles as a leading actress in the films of the 1980s Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. She was crowned Miss Sweden. In the US her first appearance was in films with small roles. Her first credit role was in the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she appeared as the part of a Venusian guard. Her role was soon recognized with the Golden Globe award in the most promising category for a newcomer after playing in the film Blood Alley.
